Comeragh Wilderness Camp - December update

Time keeps marching along here in Ireland. Winter is here as evidenced by lots of
cold, wind, and rain! It's a different kind of winter, though. Although there's a
constant chill in the air, it rarely gets below freezing. As a matter of fact, outdoor
workers can be quite productive year-round if they just dress appropriately.

There are quite a number of work groups scheduled to come over in the next few months.
One is here now. They are helping to construct staff housing. Sebastian, our son, helps
right along with them.

Wolf is now in Kansas. Since this is volunteer work, he returns for about 12 days every
month to help cover our expenses. When he's here, he puts in full days at the camp
office. Jim Elliot once said, "Wherever you are, be all there." .......and
Wolf is......! Even at home, he gives 100 percent.

We'd like to see him more, but we realize this is a critical time for Comeragh Wilderness
Camp (CWC). They recently submitted a loooong (almost 100-page) report to the head
social worker in order to further the cause of the camp. Now a follow-up meeting is
being scheduled (early Jan., I believe) to discuss the report and hopefully get the
approval needed to bring the campers back.

Prayer is extremely needed right now.
